In this video, I share my opinion of some of the best white noise machines, compare the features, and demonstrate the main sound choices.

You'll notice that I start off by explaining why I think there are several good white noise machines rather than an obvious winner. And why understanding the range of sounds they offer (white noise, fan and/or nature sounds) and the extra features are key to finding the right white noise machine for you personally.

As an overview, I recommend the LectroFan Evo for white noise and fan sounds, as well as loud volume. The Sound+Sleep has the best range of nature sounds. The Marpac Uno has a mechanical fan for natural air sounds. The LectroFan Micro 2 is my favorite for travel. The Dreamegg D3 is a good mid-range option. The Big Red Rooster lets you use normal AA batteries.

I know there are many others that I didn't include in this video. It's not because there aren't other great options (there are!), but because I had to keep this list to a reasonable length. So I've chosen the sound machines that I find most interesting at the moment, and that I think are very effective at masking external noise. In the future, I'll do another video with other brands included.
