ABOUT DEEPFAKE:
Deepfake is a technique that uses artificial intelligence resources to change faces in videos and images in order to get as close to reality as possible. The term is a mixture of the expressions deep learning + fake and means the use of AI (artificial intelligence) to create a false situation. There are several famous examples of deepfakes running on Youtube. Deepfakes with actors Tom Cruise, Matrix Keanu Reeves, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk of SpaceX, former American President Donald Trump, just to name a few examples, is a big hit on the web. They are still not perfect, but it is a path of no return and certainly over the years, the work of the deepfaker will be increasingly improved. The terms best deepfake, scary deepfakes, viral deepfakes, deepfakes memes, are among the most sought after by the public interested in deepfake news. The most interesting thing is that in the future we may have the pleasure of seeing on the screens again, faces of celebrities who are gone, like Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley (like this video) just to name a few. As all technology can also be used for illicit purposes, however, it is still possible to verify and identify with the naked eye the imperfections of current deepfakes and there are already increasingly effective tools for scanning and discovering fakes.
