Solo Canoe (Kayak) Trip to Brûle Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park
An overnight solo canoe trip to Brûle Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park.
It was pretty windy both days so I used music over the really windy parts.
I left in a lot of footage to give the video a more immersive feel.
Starting at Canoe Lake I head up to Joe Lake and into Tepee. I take the portage over to Potter Creek and up to Potter Lake and into Brûle Lake where I stay for the night on a beautiful site on a cliff overlooking Brûle, and then visited the town site that is now overgrown.
The next day I headed back down through Potter Lake, took a series of portages through Pathfinder Lake and a pond to Tom Thomson Lake. From there I headed south through Little Doe Lake, Fawn Lake and back to Tepee Lake where I completed the loop.
Music:
The Inlaw Josie Wales by Phish
Mountain In The Mist by Page McConnell and Trey Anastasio
