An Epidemic of Loneliness - How Do You Live Your Life After 65?

Why don't we go out and live? Isolation, low self-esteem and the lack of confidence to ask for love....I thought a lot about the isolation I went through this last decade and I share some intimate thoughts I had on how to find a way out of the loneliness trap...especially for those over 65. I had over 1400 comments from all of you wonderful folks last week who are part of this channel...and you gave me a wonderful earful of what made you feel happier and more whole. Perhaps in understanding our own feelings of loneliness, we can find peace and purpose in helping others who struggle. We can be their voice. And for our loved ones that have passed, love never dies and we can carry on the things they taught us...we can be their voice.
Our life is just beginning because we have never been this age before...and everything is new again...but it takes courage to live a good full life...but it takes even more courage to lead an unhappy lonely tortured life and admit you have to change. If you are a senior and feel depressed, isolated and alone I hope something I say in this video helps...or something written by the amazing ladies and men of this channel perhaps will spark something inside you to go on...and get busy living. You deserve it.
I have been reading books about Patsy Cline this week...a musical angel who died at only 30 years old. She was such a lovely wise woman with so much talent...she started out singing in her house dress about love gone wrong...the Joni Mitchell of her time...but her life was cut so short. She loved her 51 Hudson because " it got me around just fine and I bought it with my own money. Nobody's help!"
I think we all have our version of a 51 Hudson...how about you?
