Today's video is a response to a viewer question about a comment financial YouTuber "Meet Kevin" made on diversification in his reaction to a video where Kevin O'Leary recommended that Graham Stephan diversify his investment portfolio. We will look at a simple example of a two stock portfolio that demonstrates how diversification works and whether diversification makes sense for young investors. We also look at the research by Elton and Gruber from 1977 on how many stocks an investor should have in their portfolio in order to achieve diversification.
