McLaren GT marks the British company's first foray into the grand touring setup and shares its platform with the McLaren Speedtail and 720S.

The GT is powered by a detuned version of the 3,994 cc M840T V8 twin-turbo engine found in the 720S. Renamed M840TE, this engine variant features smaller turbochargers that deliver lower performance compared to the 720S but offer enhanced low-end responsiveness. The GT boasts an output of 620 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 630 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
