[HD] Sugar glider giving birth (upclose and clear!)

Oct 7th 2012, my bijou had her third joey birth. Before I got the video running I held her while she was pushing the first joey so this was more of the 2nd joey travelling to the pouch :)

It's not necessary to hold them while your suggie is giving birth, but for me it was a priviledge to hold my fuzzbutt!

As you can see, Bijou is super tame and comfortable with me. She is quite a calm suggie herself and her personality is really sweet.

For her previous and future joeys, she'd always let me hold em when they're almost weaned off. Most suggie mommys would be anxious to let their babies off with humans.. but Bijou has been always so willing to let me hold her babies while she takes time off relaxing and doing her thing.

Don't worry, her babies are all grown up and happy and this is actually the second time I saw Bijou giving birth.. I am THAT close to my suggies, but only this time I had the privilege to capture this miracle on video! Hope you enjoy this video, it is certainly a rare occasion to witness this with your own eyes, more with it happening on your own hand! :D
