Once inside the settings page, tap on 'Account Center,' which is listed at the top and serves as a unified area for managing your Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger details.

In the Account Center, select 'Personal Details' and then tap on 'Contact Info.' Here, you’ll see your current phone number associated with the account. To update your number, you have two options. You can either tap the existing number to edit it, or you can tap on 'Add New Contact' to link a new mobile number. Select 'Add Mobile Number' and then choose the Facebook account you want to update. Enter your new number, and follow the on-screen prompts.

After adding the new number, Facebook will likely send a one-time password (OTP) to verify it. Once verified, you can go back and delete the old number by selecting it and tapping 'Delete Number.' This way, only your new number will be linked to your account.
