This is a documentary series made for educational purposes with the intention of shedding light on victims and their stories. Stories in which we can all learn lessons from and use to help make the internet a safer place for all of us.

In the case of Adesech Sadik (the hanging woman), her struggle highlights the very real issues happening throughout the world due to something called the Kafala System. This exploitative practice takes advantage of poor migrant workers in so many countries, with Adesech's story being far from the only account. And whereas her story did have a happy ending, this sadly is not always the case with workers in similar positions. In the case of luoxiaomaomaozi, her story is a cautionary tale about harassment and cyberbullying across the web. And a strong reminder that even though you are talking to someone online, you are still talking to a real person. Sadly, she never found the help she needed but there are people out there in all of our lives who can help prevent anything like this happening again. Friends, family, guidance counselors, therapists, teachers, neighbors, all could be there to help if you need it.
