Despite the season being put on hold, plans have officially been set in motion for the NHL playoffs to eventually return, thus giving closure to a year that's been as chaotic as ever.

Even though there is a long way to go before the NHL comes back in any way, shape, or form, we at least know of seven teams that will not be returning to the ice for the playoffs. This video is dedicated to those seven squads who went through utter chaos, turmoil, the start of a grueling rebuild, or were the Detroit Red Wings.
