Sculpting DARKNESS - Sculpt and Airbrush timelapse Demo

Ladies and Gents, this was a labour of love.
This character left an impression on the minds of many when we saw him for the first time as kids, myself included. It was an image of both fascination and fear. The character itself, Darkness, played by Tim Curry in Ridley Scott's movie "Legend", is the kind of incredible art that you can't get enough just looking at him. Tim Curry's performance is "Legendary", and the makeup and design of Darkness is unforgettable. I just had to try to make that image in my mind a reality.

I am a self-taught artist, making these on my kitchen table in a little studio flat in Belfast. I'm really enjoying making these, and I will continue to do so as long as resources allow. Will I sell my works? I can imagine some offers I couldn't refuse... but selling these could never generate their worth, so if anyone wants to contribute and engage with the work, please consider joining my Patreon. I'm spending a lot of supplies, and anyone could help, even 1 dollar a month, if enough people get on board, can make a big difference. Just imagine what we could get made if I had a real workshop!? Resources are the only limitation on what I'm willing to try to create. Darkness would be a full-life-size statue if I had my way, but the only thing preventing that was resource restrictions. As it stands, I don't even have somewhere to put him in my little flat :D

P.S. YES I did make the horns, by hand, from scratch! Those took longer than the actual head sculpt itself (2 weeks of sanding, drying, painting, sanding, drying, painting, with fiberglass and milliput). I have all the footage of making those, and will probably do a separate video post of that. It was impossible to put everything in this one video. If you guys want to see how the horns were made, or have a commentary on the process (previous film about sanding fiberglass was about the horns), please let me know and I will come up with something.
