Here are the worst serial killers known to date. Details of their crimes were too horrendous to list here.
Luis Alfredo Garavito Cubillos was a Colombian serial killer. In October 1999, he confessed to murdering 147 minors, predominantly young men and boys.
Pedro Alonso López is a Colombian serial killer who murdered a minimum of 100 and 10 people from 1969 to 1980. He claimed to have murdered over 300 people.
Javed Iqbal Mughal was a Pakistani serial killer who confessed to the murder of 100 young boys.
Mikhail Viktorovich Popkov is a Russian serial killer who committed the murder of seventy-eight girls and women between 1992 and 2010. He has confessed to and is suspected of at least eighty-three in total.
Daniel Camargo Barbosa was a Colombian serial killer who is believed to have murdered at least 72 young girls during the 1970s and 1980s. Barbosa was stabbed to death in prison by a fellow inmate in 1994.
