Cycling the hardest 100 miles Sportive in the Lake District. It was really really hard !

This was one of the most challenging cycling events I have ever attempted. The Hardest 100 miles is a cycling sportive in the Lake District National Park which took place on July 17th 2021. The weather was going to be a key factor with hot temperatures forecast throughout the day and the event organisers - Sportive Breaks, warned the riders about the dangers on the descents. They were steep with hairpin bends !
I also met up with a keen fellow cyclist who has a YouTube channel which goes by the name of - Duncan McNutt. He makes weekly cycling vlogs and today he filmed this ride. His video of the Hardest 100 will give you another perspective of this day and how tough it really was.
I would also like to personally thank Duncan for riding along side with me on this day.
