Genji Monogatari (1987)

Now that my previous uploads from way back in the day when YouTube required only 15 minute uploads are blocked in Japan, I have no reason to not put it up all in one piece to make sure a hard drive loss won't cause this to be lost. This is the animated Tale of Genji from 1987. It only tells the beginning part of the story, but the animation and music is so beautiful I didn't think it should be lost in college libraries (it is not available on DVD in English, this is from the VHS version). If you are in Japan, this is likely to be blocked again unfortunately since the DVD was finally released in the mid 20-teens. So go get it.
