Linda Sánchez Speaks out Against Radical Medical Malpractice Legislation

Congresswoman Linda Sánchez speaks out about the need to protect consumers from legislation which would restrict the rights of patients injured by medical malpractice. During a legislative markup hearing of the House Judiciary Committee, Congresswoman Sánchez exposes H.R. 5 as a radical piece of medical malpractice legislation. This misguided bill would limit what damages patients injured in cases of medical malpractice can seek from drug companies, nursing homes, insurance companies, and HMOs.
