How I recovered my DEACTIVATED Instagram business account in March 2021

Instagram deactivated my account stating that "I was impersonating someone else". After 3 days, and multiple reports submitted, I finally have recovered my account.

This is a timeline of what I did to recover my Instagram account

DAY 1 (the first 24 hours)

When I tried to open the Instagram app, I was asked to submit my phone number as verification.

Submitted my phone number, but was blocked from using the app for 24 hours.

Every time I tried to log in, I saw this message: "Thank you for providing your info. We'll review it and if we can confirm it, you'll be able to request a review in the Help Centre within 24 hours."

DAY 2 (the next 24 hours)

Was not able to log into my business account.
My account disappeared from Instagram search.
I turned to my personal profile to inform my friends that my business page was deactivated.
After 24 hours was able to request a review using 2 different forms:

FORMS I FILLED UP TO RECOVER MY ACCOUNT

*Pro tip: Don't tick the business option. Request a personal review to recover your account will be faster (even if the account deactivated is for a business). That's what I found researching other YouTube videos and this is what worked for me!

*Note: I submitted these forms using 3 different emails (and 6 times each) because I couldn't remember which email I used to create my Instagram account. I only received a reply from the Instagram team on the last email address I submitted.

DAY 3

I received an email from Instagram Team with guidelines on how to recover my account.
Basically, they asked me to send them a photo of myself holding a white piece of paper with my name, username and a code they provided in the email they sent to me.

About 30 minutes after I send the photo verification, people started messaging me that all of a sudden my business account was back LIVE!

So this is how I recovered my Instagram business account in March 2021 (just yesterday!)

Hope this helps you if you are facing a similar issue! Please note that everyone's situation is different and I cannot state for sure that if you follow this method Instagram will reinstate your account.
