This 1957 Ford Fairlane 2 Door Hardtop has an excellent looking stance along with a quintessential 50s paint job. The '57 Fairlanes were completely redesigned by Ford, sporting a longer and sleeker wheelbase than previous models and they had tail fins which were all the rage back in 1957. These stylistic updates helped Ford outsell Chevrolet in 1957. This particular example comes to Ellingson's out of California. A 292 Cubic Inch Ford V8 with a single 2 barrel carburetor powers this beautiful Fairlane. With an automatic transmission, anybody can drive this '57 Ford Hardtop with ease, whether you're going to your local car show or taking a longer cruise. The front brakes have been upgraded to a disc brake setup, which is a major improvement from the traditional drum brakes setup these classic Fords were born with. This '57 Fairlane also has Power Steering which makes driving these old Fords easier and much more enjoyable. The exterior on this 1957 Ford has been refinished in its original colors - Willow Green and Colonial White, which makes for a great 50s look. An upgraded suspension gives this '57 Ford a distinguished stance. With radial tires and Crager Chrome wheels, the ride and look on this 1957 Fairlane is greatly improved. The interior of this '57 Ford is brand new. The bench seat interior is finished with white vinyl with green velour which makes this classic Ford a great looking car, inside and out. The carpeting has also been recently replaced, and it looks great as well. Besides the aftermarket entertainment system and steering wheel, the dash remains in a stock configuration and it shows great. The Hardtops of the 50's are always a welcome site at the local car show and this 1957 Ford Fairlane has great history and originality.
