Other info:

The rolling stock used for Renfe's Talgo services is similar to the Talgo IV coaches used by Amtrak on their Cascades services. The main difference being Amtrak's Talgo coaches operate on standard gauge rails where as Renfe's operate on Iberian gauge rails.

For those of you wondering what the difference is between standard and Iberian gauge rails, standard gauge rails are 4ft 8½in, where as Iberian gauge rails are 5ft 5²¹/³²in.
