Retaining Wall Construction Time Lapse (2018)

A retaining wall can dramatically change the shape, function, and feel of your yard. Our customer located in Milwaukee, WI had a very steep unusable backyard. The only approach was to install a large wall and create a level backyard. The wall was constructed using Keystone retaining wall blocks that weigh over 100 pounds a piece and the wall was reinforced with multiple layers of geo-grid to add additional strength. Once the wall was up, we repaired all of the lawn in front and behind the wall and installed a decorative stone border along the top of the wall. In all, the wall was over 100 feet long, 7 feet high and took 10 full days!
