Replacing a Broken Leaf Spring on the Trailer

The repeated, forced running over of storm drains with the right side of my trailer took its toll in the form of a broken leaf spring. I replace it and check my brakes in this video. It is far from step by step instructional, but may be helpful, if it's your first time, on what to do. It was my first time.

After it's all said and done I consider this repair to be easy. It took about and hour and half, the first time. Next time it'll be 45 mins max. The one thing that held me up the most was the protector cap over the king nut. Be gentle with it. Bunch of small taps broke it free for me. The short version of removing that is here:
