In Feb 2017 Blane performed at the Sky Ranch Cowboys & Cowboys Gala. One of the fundraising auction items was a beautiful 1965 Corvette in Nassau Blue. She was a beauty and Blane and his lead guitar player Joey Wengerd couldn't get her out of their minds, so they teamed up with their friend Josh Gibbs to write a song about that car! It's called "Clear"
