Thermal Vent Beam Lasers Tested and Fully Explained

In this in depth analysis we look at the thermal vent experimental effect for beam lasers. We test with each of the six blueprints, Short Range Blaster, Overcharged, Lightweight, Long Range, Sturdy and Efficient to show which blueprints are a better match for venting heat, using with silent running and when used in combat. Thermal Vent is an experimental effect that transfers the heat from your ship into your target, so long as you are striking the target. This is best used in conjunction with high heat weapons or builds with modules such as shield cell banks and may eliminate the need for heat sinks.

TL;DR - Efficient paired with thermal vent is the lest effective at venting heat as the amount of heat generated by the weapon determining the power of the thermal venting effect.
