My wife and I hiked to a beautiful cave in a U.S. national park.
To mess with her a little, I exaggerated the trail: cliffs, rough paths, and even a giant chasm with a rope to swing across.
She believed me… and muttered through gritted teeth: “I see the ravine, but where the hell is that damn rope?”
Sometimes, hiking is as much about laughs as views.
