Upgraded Strut & Flex Cable Blackjack 42 | No More Broken Proboat Flex Cables

Much needed upgrade for the Blackjack 42. I upgraded the whole driveline of this boat.  I used a large speed master strut with a flat bottom.  I don't recommend this strut because it's huge. modified the strut to make it work, let me tell you, it was a lot of work.  I had to extend the whole strut/rudder assembly off the transom 1/4 - 1/2 " which will give me more angle,more prop in the water (leverage.)   I'd recommend the med catamaran strut by speedmaster with a 1/4" flex cable 5/16 stuffing tube with no liner.   the LG is way to big but it works. you need a 1/4 to 1/4 3¹/6 flex cable to beef up your bride line.
     This is a game changer for this boat, flat bottom or round bottom strut options with will give you tuning options.   I'm trying to get the front of the boat down for those full trigger lake pulls.  I've blueprinted the bottom of the boat As well to try and keep the boat in the water at speed. looks like it's paying off.
