Family Planning Communication: Folk Media (UNESCO, 1974?)

Filmed in India, the motion picture details how to use folk culture and traditions in developing a strategy for family planning. Poetry is used in rural settings. A puppet theater shows the story of what happens when there are too many children in a family. A play with live performers is shown. Family planning themes are used in folk songs. Some of the folk performances are broadcast on mass media.
