5 Mysterious Creatures Caught On Camera. Humans have been in love with recording their lives on video since the first movie film was invented. From the first short films that show nothing but horses and humans running to today's mega-million dollar blockbusters, people are amazed with what they can see. Anyone with a mobile device, a television, or a computer can see a variety of true-life videos any time they desire: weddings, children playing in the park, wild animals, and even sometimes things that seem to defy reality. It is these videos, even when they are proven to be hoaxes, that remind us not to always believe what we see.

5. GOBLIN

Like many young mothers around the world, an Argentine woman posted a video on YouTube in 2011. The content of this video isn't so unusual: her toddler son sitting in the kitchen floor making normal baby chatter. Everyone seems to be having a good time until a tiny humanoid creature sprints across the floor and then mysteriously disappears beneath the stove! The toddler's mother, Sylvia, believes that her son can talk to the tiny creature who she says leaves a putrid smell behind him and interferes with electronics each time it decides to visit. She also claims to have recorded the goblin on film at least five times.

The creature in Sylvia's video is thought by some people to portray a duende, which is like an English sprite or an Irish leprechaun, though not as bloodthirsty a spirit as the later. "Duende" is the shortened form of duen de casa, which literally means "spirit possessor of the house." On the other hand, however, many people who watch the video say the duende is nothing more than a really well done Photoshop job.

4. CLIMBING MONSTER

In August 2014, horrified YouTube fans watched as a creepy plant-like creature scales the wall of a large apartment building in Russia. Through the early-morning sunlight a huge, stick-like monster casually climbs up the wall and disappears after making it to the roof. It is all pretty B-movie scary until one gets to the part where Dmitry Kataev, the video's creator, tells everyone that he designed and produced the short film after a long stint of insomnia. He based the creature on a stick insect and is now hoping to work as a special effects tech in Hollywood.

3. CHINESE MONSTER

In April 2015 a strange, hairless, long-legged, and large-pawed creature is allegedly caught in the Shenzhen Reservoir and placed in a cage. The river in the reservoir is highly polluted and for a while the animal was believed to be some type of mutant. It is desperately attempting to chew its way out of the (too small) wire cage, injuring its mouth in the process. People cannot agree on whether is it a chupacabra, an animal with a disease or an alien from outer space.

With more research, however, the video posted in 2015 turns out to trace back to a similar video posted five years earlier! In that recording, a hairless Sun bear is attempting to get away from people who are trying to kill it. It turns out the animal is affected with a disease that causes it to be bald. Its current whereabouts are unknown.
