ONE: INTRODUCTION
Known by Hitle as "The Man with the Iron Heart," Reinhard Heydrich was considered to be the leading architect of the Nazi's Final Solution to the Jewish question. He had designed the plans for the extermination of all European Jews. Within the SS, it was assumed that Heydrich was destined for the highest office and aimed at nothing less than succeeding Hitler as Führer of the Thousand Year Reich. These ambitions, however, would come to a screeching halt.
