Classic with a twist, it survived into the 90's and conveyed the last wooden sleeping car in Australia.
* After the overnight ride we wake up pre dawn in Goondiwindi

On the return from Dirranbandi the crew lost no time in getting to Goondiwindi to watch the NRL!
* after and overnight trip we wake up south of Warwick, with views from the train and crossing another train at Warwick
* The video concludes at a deserted Toomwoomba.
Patronage was light but freight loading was good. Outbound out bound there were two families one alighting at Goondiwindi the other further west. On the return journey there was only my self and a QR employee. Filmed in 1992.
