Never on a Sunday -Ta Paidia Tou Piraia or The Children of Piraeus was made famous by Melina Mercouri - in a movie of the same name. The composer is Manos Hatzidakis and in 1960, the song was nominated and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

I learned Greek for this classic tune, as I remember my mom loving this song and dancing in the kitchen to it when I was growing up.
