5. Tiger Cowry (Cypraea tigris)
The Tiger cowrie lives in the Indo-Pacific.It is one of the most common molluscs in the ocean and occurs in large numbers over the majority of the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from Africa to Hawaii.
The average Tiger cowrie is about 8 cm/3 in,while the largest known specimen is 15.3 cm/6.02 in. The Tiger cowrie occurs in black,gray,brown and white colours.
4. Chestnut Cowry (Cypraea spadicea)
The name "chestnut cowry"comes from a large patch of a rich chestnut brown on the dorsum of the shell,ringed with a darker brown,against a white background.The adult shell of this species ranges in size from 40 to 65 mm.
This species lives on exposed rocky shores in the very low intertidal and subtidal zones. It is found on overhanging rock ledges and on other somewhat sheltered rock surfaces.
3. Arabian Cowry (Cypraea Arabica)
This amazing snail is among the large cowries sometimes seen near reefs on our Southern shores. It is more active at night.It was previously known as Cypraea arabica.
The shell pattern on the upper side is variable,generally bluish with fine dotted brown lines. The underside has brown spots on the outer edges and brown 'teeth'.It's size is 5 to 8cm.

Leporicypraea mappa (previously known as Cypraea mappa), common name the map cowry,is a species of large sea snail, a cowry, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cypraeidae, the cowries.
The map cowry was named on the basis of its distinct color pattern,because of the longitudinal lines and the easily distinguishable and sinuous mantle groove, which creates a resemblance to ancient maps.
1. Serpent's Head Cowry (Cypraea caputserpentis)
Serpent Head Cowrie/Cypraea Caputserpentis is found in the tropical Indo-Pacific.
Thick, egg shaped shell with flattened base. Teeth at each side of aperture are short. Chocolate brown color with white spots on top.
