Something 4 the Weekend" had been re-recorded from the album version (which can be differentiated by its use of "for" instead of "4") in a more accessible form. While some argued that it should have been left in its original form, I loved both versions and think the band made the right choice. The sweatier, more intense album version belongs on Fuzzy Logic while the lighter single version is perfect as a stand-alone piece. Despite its risque sex and drugs lyrics, "Something 4 the Weekend" finally gave the Furries a proper hit, climbing up to number 18. It remains one of their best and best loved singles, brilliantly juxtaposing a squelchy, paranoid thump of a verse with a blissed-out, romantic chorus ("You're on my mind, every day and every night"). For those who were unmoved by the new recording of "Something 4 the Weekend", the faster paced album version appears as an extra track at the end of the single too.
