The CX-5 has been around for some time now, but Mazda has decided to refresh the car for 2021 to give it a fighting chance against the new Volkswagen Tiguan and Citroen C5 Aircross. The car now comes with a new, more powerful engine to match the CX-5’s superbly sporty steering and handling.

Remarkably, though, the CX-5 is naturally-aspirated because Mazda thinks its engines are just as efficient as those with turbos. But that’s not the only thing that separates the CX-5 from the competition…
