Fluorosis Knowledge and Action Network - India
Fluorosis is a major problem in India affecting millions. Excessive Fluoride in groundwater used for drinking and cooking is the main cause. A lack of Vitamin C and Calcium in a balanced diet seems to affect people, especially the poor more.
The need for an inter-disciplinary approach to the issue is a recent realization. A network is being formed to bring more knowledge,experience and science to address the issue in India.
