The reason I was touched by this song is because the Lord God has had me wait for some 40 years, and still has not fulfilled His promises. In 1994 He pomised me another nation. I had to give Him time to set things up..well..I guess He needs an eternity for almost 20 years later I am still in the Netherlands where I have been obstructed / hindered by especially the jealous leaders of Christian gatherings who appointed themselves... because my formal education, training and experience as a professional Naval Officer, when most of them have lower education and social standing, as well, as well as my spiritual equipping, Bibleschools, protestant lay leader on board the USS John King (DDG-3) during my year as PEP - officer there (1977-1978) and prophetic Ministry Training College of Christian Internation in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. made them feel insecure... they were afraid I would take over, so they murdered me and isolated me with their lying slander, for which they would be criminally prosecuted in the world..but in the church it is ot punished to murder and destroy fellow brothers and sisters... and since there is NO JUSTICE in the church (which I tried to get the Evangelical Alliance to do.. pointing them to their responsibility as many many Christians are wounded by... the 'goats' in the church, as the Bible calls such people. These self-appointed leaders are what the Bible calls 'hirelings'- not shepherds. I have been astonished that the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ, tolerated this for decades... if not centuries.

The other promise God has not begun to filfuull, even after 23 years... when He has been promising my wife since 1991, letting me wait for 17 years to even give such a promise. The only thing the Lord kept saying even up to a couple of years ago was "WAIT!" Even when I was almost 58! I am shocked by God for manifesting in my life as my very worstenemy! But as William Gurnall wrote: "We must trust also in a killing God!" Well God has been killing and destroying and robbing and cursing my life from the very first day of conception until today. I am almost 60. So is God a liar? This is how He let prophet Jeremiah experience Him also. Prophet Jeremiah said: ""Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?" (Jeremiah 15:18) Job experienced Him as enemy, yet said: ""Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him!" (Job 13:15)

So there is nothing new under the sun. If Jeremiah accused the Lord of being a liar and unreliable, untrustworthy... and this is in the Word of God... why should we be so surprised if He manifests the same way in our lives? We have a choice: "To become bitter or better!" I struggle with it. I need His help! May He repent of the evil He has done to me for some 40 years, if not almost 60 years, for even the years prior to my being born again were hell! He must have a purpose for doing this to me. I must trust Him even when He manifests as my very worst enemy! This I CHOOSE to do, so help me God Almighty!
