Goya's success shows it's better to stand-up to 'cancel culture fascists'

It’s heartening canned beans manufacturer Goya didn’t backtrack in the face of the “cancel culture fascists” who wanted to punish the company after its CEO praised US President Donald Trump, according to Sky News host James Morrow.

Fans of the Hispanic owned company have urged its supporters to engage in a ‘buy-cott’ after prominent online activists and politicians called for consumers to boycott the company after CEO Bob Unanue said America is “blessed” to have Mr Trump as president.

Mr Morrow said unlike other company that find themselves in the crosshairs of online controversies, Goya “stood its ground.”

“As far as I'm concerned that's a big win for a great Hispanic-American business,” he said

“And more importantly, it's a big loss for the un-intelligentsia and the cancel culture fascists who would rather shut you up than argue with you.

“The silent majority is out there, and they will stand with those who show courage in standing up against the mob.

“As the story of Goya's BUY-cott suggests, if you DO find yourself in the crosshairs of the cancel culture – which, like the Devil himself, tries to convince you that it doesn't exist – stand up for yourself.

“You may find you have a lot more friends than you thought you did.”
