In this video we tested the new Mercedes-Benz Actros 5 with the latest version of PPC (Predictive Powertrain Control) and MirrorCam in a Fuel Challenger against the efficient Actros 4 using the most current version of PPC. Both vehicles were 2545 LS StreamSpace Cabs, fully fuelled with a GVW of 36t. Our Truck Trainers were measured on driving style to ensure the test was as fair as could be and the vehicles ran within 2 minutes of each other - no slip streaming allowed.
