WPBG-TV 67 - Box 3 - December 1963 - Morning Sign-On

I'm still trying to salvage more of the box 3a films, but I needed a break and took one out of the bigger box 3. I've seen enough sign-off kino's but this is the first sign-on I've come across.

The tin was labeled as "December, 1963" (And I must admit every time I see that tin I think of the old song "Oh, what a Night") and does indeed appear to have been from Christmas time.

That one commercial for Snow Cap. That bear is enough to give me nightmares for a week. What was it about 1950s-1960s mascots being absolutely terrifying?
