Rafael Cassiani is a renowned recording folklore artist and the leader of Sexteto Tabala, a musical group that is the cultural heartbeat of San Basilio de Palenque, a small village in the Carrebean side of Colombia and an oasis of African culture in Colombia.

We got to visit his home, meet him and his wife, and our toddler danced to the beats of "Calamar Tierra de Arena" with our guide Diover.
