A Hopeful or Depressing Future? Classic 911's Going EV - Conversion Kits Are Here

The SEMA EV Award Winner APP EV Systems brought something we found very interesting to SEMA 2022 with a full Porsche 911 (1965 – 1989) EV conversion kit. With 73 kWh battery, 250 hp and 368.781 ft-lb while retaining the factory 5-speed transmission. We found it interesting and interviewed their owner Jeremy who is on camera explaining their system in this video. It's a planned $60,000 EV package that you can have a local Porsche expert install.

We know this is not most people's cup of tea, and you buy a classic Porche for the flat-six. I found him to be one of the most interesting people at SEMA, with a very successful track record of success.
