WWII and the Giant German Soldier (Jakob Hudson Nacken)

Jakob Hudson Nacken (1906–1987) was a German circus performer, known as the tallest soldier in the German Army during WWII at 7'3". He performed in circuses, the 1939 New York World's Fair, and worked as a giant Santa Claus in the U.S. Born in Düsseldorf, his family was also notably tall. After WWII, he moved to the U.S., working in Ripley's Believe It or Not! and as a TV personality, "Germany's Long Jake".
