CABLE CAR & Museum | FULL Experience - San Francisco, CA

On this day (December 2018), I experienced San Francisco cable car system which is a historic symbol recognized around the globe and offer real working transportation up the steep hills of the Bay Area. The Cable Cars start at 6am and continue until 12 midnight (Time subject to change). Traveling from Union Square to the crest of Nob Hill; the cable cars offer an existing way to move around San Francisco. Taking a ride is an unforgettable experience when visiting San Francisco, California. Although, individuals who might dismiss cable cars as a tourist attraction, some will say it’s a must to do ones in their life time. The Cable Cars is $7.00 to ride one way (Price subject to change). There are three different Cable Car routes to choose from within the city. The two main lines are Powell-Hyde and Powell-Mason. These are the two lines most individuals ride because of major steep hills and those classic city views. The other San Francisco Cable Car route is the California-Van Ness line, which starts at California and Market and continues on until Van Ness. If you have never ridden a San Francisco cable car before then it can seem kind of confusing to navigate but it’s actually pretty straightforward (Videos out there). One thing I would suggest if you want to avoid the long line. I found out you can walk a few blocks and get the car at the next stop. The downside to this is that the car will be almost full and you will most likely have to hang on to the side of the car to ride; which is what I wanted. The upside is that the wait is significantly shorter. All-in-all, great experience.
