2020-12-18 Xiao Qi Ji Climbs INTO the Playpen, Keeper Carries him from Patio!

#PandaStory Day 119 or 17 weeks old, and 14.5 pounds (see Zoo update)! Busy, busy early morning for Giant Panda cub Xiao Qi Ji and his mother Mei Xiang. He was actively moving around room 2 and 3 for over 2 hours! This video (no audio available) contains the highlights including his walking, climbing into room 3's playpen (a rockwork milestone!), and I've noted where the water source is for Mei Xiang in both room 2 and 3 for people that were wondering. Also Xiao Qi Ji nursed (as evidenced by Mei Xiang's posture and length of time sitting there), and explored the rockwork in room 2. Also, it appeared Qi Ji barked at Mei Xiang around the 14:05 mark based on his lunge as she approached him! And then it was time to visit the patio ... Mei Xiang and a keeper both brought him back to room 2, but did he stay there?
