Grey Seal Goes on Adorable Scratching Jag
A grey seal near the Farne Islands was captured scratching nearly every inch of its body on seaweed and the seafloor, and with its flippers, in adorable footage by British diver Ben Burville.
Burville, a scuba diver who works as a doctor in the coastal town of Amble, Northumberland, by day, has built up a rapport with seals in the area after nearly 20 years diving among them.
“Sometimes when you have an itch, you just need to scratch it,” Burville wrote in his Twitter post.
