The crucial thing to get right for all of these effects is PAINT CONSISTENCY!

1. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 - for splatters and drips (Note: only use the blowing method on yourself so as to not spread germs.)
2. 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 - for painting controlled drip effects, splatters, etc.
3. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 - for a stippling/splatter sponge either dabbing for splatter effect or dragging for scratches
4. 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 (dry consistency if you’re using a glycerin-based paint like Superstar) - for stenciling!
