Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 321 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React

Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode, we continue expanding the Discovery sidebar by adding support for trending topics in the `DiscoveryContext`, including loading state, cached topic data, and a reusable fetch method. We then build the new `DiscoveryWhatsHappening` component, which displays trending conversations with loading feedback, integrates existing `ExploreTrendingCard` components, and includes a “Show more” action that navigates users directly into the Explore experience. After styling and wiring the component into the main Discovery layout, we finish the sidebar polish by creating a lightweight `DiscoveryFooter` with common site links and branding, giving the entire Discovery panel a much more complete and production-ready feel.
