What Makes a Saint? | All Saints Day Sermon | The Rt. Rev. Andrew Dietsche | Nov 5

Saints are human, just like us, preached the Rt. Rev. Andrew M.L. Dietsche this morning at Trinity. Because their stories are often complicated, violent, and fictionalized, we might find it difficult to honor this “wild and wooly bunch” every year on All Saints’ Day. But rather than dismiss them for seeming less than “holy,” Bishop Dietsche urges us to look at what unites these imperfect men and women: their devotion to leading others during some of the most dangerous and difficult times “to new days, new expectations, and new possibilities” through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
