Gino’s Garage U-Line Ice Maker Repair Part 1

Taking apart the U-Line ice maker out of our 1984 Bluebird Wanderlodge. Trying to see if I can get it back working again. It was freezing the ice it would just not dispense it once it was frozen. I believe it is an issue with the defrost switch which tells it when the ice cubes are ready. It looked like the thermal mastic that was holding let loose, I am hoping that is the issue. We are going to test it to see if it’s working and we will reuse it if it’s good or replace it if it’s not.
