LA MARINA CAMPSITE, Alicante, Spain

Motorhome Junkies have a guilty secret, whilst we love to travel in our Motorhome and try to Wild camp, every now and again we like to top up our batteries and indulge in a little luxury.
It doesn’t get much better than this, La Marina Camping just south of Alicante Spain. Here we have a 5 star luxury resort with all the trappings of a luxury Hotel. Spa and treatment centre, fully equipped gym with multi classes including Zumba, dance and Spin classes , indoor and outdoor swimming with waterpark, shops, restaurant, bar, cashpoint, the list of facilities just goes on. We have just spent the most enjoyable couple of months here over the winter and have had a fantastic time. The social life on this site is second to none and people from all walks of life and nationalities socialise and enjoy the facilities. There are many ad hoc clubs formed including cycling, golf, walking, singing, folk music and many more you can join if you wish.
There is the beautiful beach with a motor train from the site to the beach running all day.
Most evening there is entertainment in the purpose built hall which puts on some fantastic shows for Adults and children. All in all this site caters for pretty much everything.
These amount of facilities and first class camping do not come cheap with costs in excess of 50 euros per night in peak season, but like most sites the longer you stay the better discount you get, this means that you can pay as little as 15 euros per night if your stay is over winter.
Not bad when you think of what you get.
Well we enjoyed our break and to be fair this is not everyones idea of Motorhome travel, but now and again you need to indulge yourself.
