Rapha Cycles Away from Monolith to MACH with Cloudinary

London-based Rapha, the world’s leader in cycling apparel, recently transitioned from their legacy system to a best-of-breed, open enterprise technology ecosystem to deliver a seamless, composable architecture. This includes headless content management from Contentful, Commerce Layer’s API-rich commerce platform, and, at the heart of the tech stack, Cloudinary, handling Rapha’s asset management and delivery processes.

Rapha’s Principal Engineer, John Kilpatrick will talk us through how Rapha’s move from legacy to MACH has resulted in faster, more agile asset management. He’ll also share how Rapha powers their website with Cloudinary-delivered assets, using powerful transformations for automatic format and quality optimization.
