A winter storm impacted Kansas City, Missouri on New Years Day creating numerous accidents in and east of town. Video package shows a couple roll over accidents along with multiple semi truck slide offs and jackknifes.

Shot List

1-6 - A roll over accident in the westbound lane of interstate 70 at mile marker 70. This occurred near the Sweet Springs, MO exit, east of Kansas City.

7-10 - A roll over accident involving and SUV that occurred along highway 50, southeast of Kansas City.

11-19 - A semi truck slide off accident that occurred in the westbound lane of interstate 70 in the eastern portion of Kansas City.

20-21 - Westbound traffic backed up along interstate 70 in Kansas City due to only one lane open from to the semi truck slide off from the previous shots.

22-24 - A motorist stuck in the snow and spinning her tires, but can't get enough traction to get down the road.

25-33 - Various shots of semi trucks that had slid off and/or jackknifed along interstate 70 between Kansas City, Missouri and Concordia, Missouri.

34-35 - Shots of snow packed roads in Kansas City, Missouri.
